Pantera fue una banda estadounidense de heavy metal fundada en 1981 por los hermanos Abbott, Darrell y Vinnie Paul, en Arlington, Texas, Estados Unidos. El bajista Rex Brown se uniría a finales de 1981 con el vocalista Terry Glaze.
